Activities

Treat your guests to an afternoon of putting around Battlefield Golf Club at Centerville or, for a military step back in time, you can arrange a visit to the Great Bridge Battlefield & Waterways Museum. Here, attendees can stand on the field where Virginia's first land battle—and victory!—of the American Revolution was fought and recreate Virginia’s road to independence.

For a different look at the past don’t forget to book visits to Nauticus and the Victory Rover Naval Base. At Nauticus, guests can explore the Battleship Wisconsin, one of the largest and last battleships ever built by the U.S. Navy. Nauticus offers self-guided and guided tours that allow visitors to experience this majestic ship in all its glory.

Guests can also take in the sights and the sea on a Naval Base cruise aboard the Victory Rover. The vessel can accommodate up to 149 guests and features a climate-controlled main cabin with large picture windows and ample comfortable seating. The cruise takes guests on a trip down the smooth waters of the Elizabeth River and Hampton Roads Harbor.

And, of course, while the group is in town, they can pay their respects to fellow veterans at the Chesapeake Veterans’ Memorial

Dining

If you’re looking for a place where attendees can gather around good food, you’re in luck. With Chesapeake’s many dining options, you’ll find something that will satisfy everyone. Lockside Bar & Grill welcomes groups and offers breakfast favorites, lunch staples, and dinner entrees like Rosemary Chicken, Jambalaya, and Shrimp Scampi.
