Brookdale Farm Strawberry Picking

We’re ready to see y’all for strawberry season! Beginning of the season is always very touch and go, so don’t wait too late in the day if you have your heart set on picking strawberries. Once the season gets rolling, we will have plenty but please check Facebook or call (757) 721-0558 for daily updates. We have Ruby Junes, Chandlers and new to us- Merceds.

Bring your white buskets from previous visits to our farm or buy them here. Buy 'em once, use 'em forever! PRE-PICKED STRAWBERRIES are ready for you first-come, first-served. Strawberry “BUSKETS” (ventilated buckets) are the only approved picking container. The busket is the standard picking container used on most area farms.

While you're here strawberry picking, check out our jar goods (jams, salsas, BBQ sauces, salad dressings, and butters).

All hours depend on crop and weather conditions, so always check Facebook or phone (757) 721-0558 before leaving home. Remember, the best picking is usually in the morning so come early if you can. Field entrance will close at 5:30 PM.
