It occupies three acres and is the ultimate children's playground, imagination center and family adventure area. The Destination Playground at Deep Creek Park was designed with special needs children in mind but is definitely fun for all. In addition to the playground at Western Branch Park, you will find a 2-mile walking trail. On the grounds of the park is the Western Branch Community Center which is home to Splash Park. Member visits are free, non-members are $5. At Elizabeth River Park be sure to bring your fishing gear. You can fish from the park's pier without a fishing license. Or enjoy a walk along the water while enjoying a famous slushy from the Snack Shack.
