Chesapeake Rotary Christmas Parade

Join us for our 42nd annual Chesapeake Rotary Christmas Parade on December 6, 2025! Holly Jolly Jog Fun Run starts at 5:30 PM and the parade starts at 6:00 PM! The Parade's Chairman is Rotarian Harry Murphy and this year's theme is "Golden Christmas: A Legacy of Light!". Our presenting sponsor Chesapeake Regional Healthcare. The Chesapeake Rotary Club is also proud to partner with the City of Chesapeake in this 42 year tradition.

Parade Route:
The parade begins at Mount Pleasant Road and Battlefield Boulevard and ends in front of City Hall on Cedar Road. Most roads will start closing by 4:15 PM in and around this parade. For the easiest parking and great views, come down to the Municipal Complex behind the Central Library on Cedar Road. There will also be food vendors and portable bathrooms. Additional Information:
Public Transit: Bus Route 14 will not be able to service Cedar Road from Battlefield Boulevard to Albemarle Drive between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Hampton Roads Transit advises its customers to board or disembark at either Cedar Road and Albermarle Drive or Cedar Road and Pines of Warwick during this time. The Great Bridge Community Center (212 Holt Drive) will be open during the parade offering bathrooms, snacks and family fun.
