Owl Prowl at Northwest River Park Equestrian Area

overview

Join our park naturalist for an Owl Prowl at Northwest River Park. This 763-acre forested park is the perfect blend of natural beauty and recreational activities. Three species of owl frequent the park and nest nearby; the Eastern Screech Owl, Barred Owl and the Great Horned Owl can be heard and observed in forest and swamps that encompass the park. Our evening begins with an interpretative program where you will learn about different species of owls. Afterwards we listen for owls and try to call some into us for a closer look. Dress for the weather.

Tour is Free and open to the public but Registration is Required. Registration is open December 20, 2024 to January 11, 2025.
