Fall Foliage Paddle

Paddle the Dismal Swamp Canal from the Ballahack Boat Ramp to the North trailhead and enjoy the beautiful 6-mile scenic views of fall from the water. Bring your own kayaks, canoes, stand up paddle boards, or any non-motorized watercraft. A continental breakfast is provided in the morning and a picnic lunch awaits paddlers at the end.

Registration opens September 3, 9:00 AM and will sell out fast! Continental breakfast, lunch and participant swag bag included with registration.

Schedule (approximately):
8:00 AM - Participants drop off their boats at Ballahack Boat Ramp (3700 Dismal Swamp Canal Trail), then drive their car to park at the North trailhead (1246 Dismal Swamp Canal Trail). Participants will be shuttled via motorcoaches from North trailhead to Ballahack Boat Ramp to launch and a continental breakfast.

9:00 AM - Launch begins. Participants will paddle from Ballahack Boat Ramp to the North trailhead. At trailhead participants will load their boats, collect box lunch and event swag bag following the Paddle.
