Day Paddle at Dismal Swamp Canal Trail

Join us for a relaxing day paddle. This paddle is slow paced and great for paddlers who would like to glide on the water paddling near the park. This will also be a great opportunity for some bird watching and nature photography. Feel free to bring a waterproof camera or a waterproof bag for your phone.

For ages 13 and older. Ages 13 - 15 must be in a tandem kayak with an adult. Ages 16 and older can be on the water in an single kayak with parents registered or present.

Cost includes all your equipment (kayak, paddle, life vest).

We recommend that you bring: Bottled water, moisture wicking clothing, water shoes or closed toes shoes (flip flops are discouraged), and a change of clothing.

Single kayak or Tandem kayak Advance registration is required. Registration is open March 1 to May 23.
