The audience will sail the Caribbean seas on the sound waves of steel drums with Gary Garlic as he gives a musical demonstration that charts a course in history and cultural awareness. The audience will learn how the outlawing of drums on many Caribbean islands led to people innovating and inventing instruments from steel, resulting in a unique sound as they claimed their independence and developed an art form all their own.
 
This is a FREE, family-friendly program that's perfect for young children grades K-5.
