Brethren of the Coast will regale us with maritime history and stories from the revolutionary era and beyond. During this presentation you will learn about the maritime culture ranging from their food, tools, weaponry, attire, and more.
Come meet the BOTC members:
Eric Jeanneret: The Ships Cook, has a diverse knowledge of historical food preservation and preparation, dietary differences between officers and enlisted, and an in-depth understanding of the history and use of grog.
Connor Jeanneret: Gunner's Mate, addresses weapons and tactics of Privateers and the differences between the Navy, Privateers, and Pirates.
Michael Johnson: Purser, teaches the personal effects of sailors, sailors' tools, "Cookbook medicine," or primitive treatments used on vessels, and early navigation.
