Join us for a new family-friendly event where we explore local history on a bike! May is National Bike Month and National Historic Preservation Month. We’re celebrating both with a 3.5 mile ride through Great Bridge to discuss the history that is unique to Chesapeake! We will stop to discuss the Municipal Complex, Battlefield Park, the A & C Canal, and the Great Bridge Locks. The ride will depart from the Great Bridge Community Center.

We encourage participants to bring their own bikes and personal safety equipment. Limited number of bikes are available to rent. If interested in renting Chesapeake Parks, Recreation and Tourism equipment, please call (757) 382-1360.

Registration is required but event is free. Limited spots so sign up.
