Easter is a wonderful time of year to celebrate with family and friends, and Chesapeake, VA has no shortage of fun and exciting events to help you do just that. From Easter egg hunts to delicious brunches, here are some of the top Easter events happening in Chesapeake this year.
 

Chesapeake EGGspedition

Are you ready to eggsplore? At Chesapeake’s EGGspedition you get two chances to hunt for eggs and win prizes! These pop-up egg hunts start at 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 1st and Saturday, April 8th, where participants can follow the bunny trail to find 10,000 eggs hidden in Chesapeake parks.

One golden egg will be hidden at each participating park. Find it and return it to the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Administrative Office/Visitor Center for a prize pack full of toys and activities!

Historic Greenbrier Farms Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Bring your basket and hop over to The Farm! This event will feature a children’s Easter Egg Hunt, visits with the Easter Bunny, farm tour hayrides, an opportunity to bond with barnyard animals, including bunnies, and so much more. Be sure to reserve your time slot today!

Easter Egg Hunt At White's Nursery & Garden Center

Get your egg hunt on at White's Nursery & Garden Center the weekend before and the weekend of Easter. With $5 admission, each child will receive a complimentary bag to fill with hidden stuffed eggs. The Easter Bunny will be in the Greenhouse for pictures, so don't forget your camera. All profits will be donated to the Chesapeake Humane Society.
 

Easter Morning Easter Egg Hunt

Bubba's 33 Greenbrier is hosting its second annual Easter Morning Easter Egg Hunt. Doors open at 9:30 AM for all kids to find their eggs, followed by a special brunch menu starting at 10 AM. There will be face painting and kids crafts, as well as jumbo mimosas and Bloody Mary’s for the parents. So grab your Easter basket, find your eggs and enjoy some family fun.

Easter Celebration At Hickory Ridge Farm

Stop by Hickory Ridge Farm April 8 for a free visit and pictures with the Easter Bunny. Kids can also visit the free play area with farm animals, bounce house, play houses, sand piles, and picnic tables.

In addition to pony rides, there will be vendors, food trucks, and a DJ in the play area. Oh, and did we mention strawberries are ready for picking? Hop on over for a fun afternoon!  
 

Easter Buffets & Brunches

Black Pelican- A traditional buffet with a few coastal twists.

American Legion Post 280- Brunch will include options like pancakes, bacon, sausage, and eggs. An egg hunt will run throughout the event and there will be outdoor games set up.
