Spend an early fall afternoon drinking and dining at the Chesapeake Virginia Wine Festival. Held annually on the second Saturday in October, thousands of wine aficionados have gathered at Chesapeake City Park to celebrate the great grape, all while supporting local charities. Hosted by the Chesapeake Rotary Club, this annual celebration of all things vino is the perfect place to reunite with old friends or meet new acquaintances while enjoying the taste of more than 20 premier Virginia wineries and an extensive selection at the International Wine Village.

Since its beginning in 2009, the Chesapeake Wine Fest has donated over $2 million to various charitable organizations. This year’s event will benefit local community charities chosen by the Chesapeake Rotary Club, including the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hampton Roads.
