Site Inspections
Chesapeake Conventions & Tourism will be happy to arrange site inspections of local hotels and their conference facilities, as well as major attractions and other points of interest in Chesapeake and the surrounding areas.

Promotional Material
Chesapeake and the surrounding area offer an incredible array of things to do and places to see. We will provide you with complimentary copies of our visitors guide, maps, and brochures for use with your registration materials.

Convention Suppliers
Chesapeake Conventions & Tourism maintains a services directory listing local vendors of services and supplies. Tell us what you need and we will introduce you to the local supplier who can help make your event a success.

Bid/Proposal
Send us your meeting or event specifications and our sales staff will coordinate with the appropriate hotels to forward their available dates, rates, menus and other pertinent information directly to you or we can compile them for you in a bid format.

Central Housing
If your group requires lodging at two or more hotels/motels we can assist you with housing coordination.

Name Badges
Blank name badges, including plastic pin-on badge holder, will be provided complimentary with a block of 50 rooms in Chesapeake hotels. Printed name badges are available for a nominal fee. 30 days advance notice required.

Welcome
A complimentary Chesapeake information table stocked with area brochures, maps, restaurant information and events is available to groups booked by Chesapeake Conventions & Tourism. Tables can be staffed for an additional fee. 30-day advance notice is required.

Plastic Bags
Chesapeake plastic registration bags can be provided to groups. Quantities vary so please contact Chesapeake Conventions & Tourism at least two months in advance for price listings and availability.

Official Greeting
Your group is important to Chesapeake! We will gladly arrange for a welcome letter signed by our Mayor for reproduction in your printed program booklet. We will also coordinate a special welcome by a local dignitary during your opening program. Please allow a minimum of 30 days to accommodate this request.
