Gum Tree Farm produces purebred and commercial sheep on our 50 acre farm. In addition to sheep, we have chickens, ducks, turkeys, a baby pig, a cow, a horse, goats, cats, dogs, a rabbit, and "Studebaker" the donkey.
In addition to the familiar farm animals, we have others that produce fiber and have samples from fiber plants. The process of dyeing wool will be discussed and demonstrated.
Wildlife is abundant and protected from hunters. Grey fox, rabbits, quail, hawks, owls, deer and many species of songbirds make their home in our woods and pastures.
Visits by appointment only.
