This year we commemorate the 75th Anniversary of this historic event in U.S. and Filipino History. Our mission is to honor our Bataan survivors, those who fell during the march, those who died as prisoners of war and those who returned after nearly 3 years of hellish captivity. VFW Post's mission is to "Honor the Fallen by Helping the Living".
In order to carry out our mission the Bataan Death March event is our largest fund raiser of the year. Funds from this event are used to help Veterans in need. The walk (1 mile, 5 miles & 16 miles) portion is "FREE". T-Shirts, food and soft drinks will be available for sale. Please consider being a sponsor and or donating to help us help our Vets in need!
This year we have added 3 competitive run events - 16.6 Mile Walk/Run - 5 Mile Walk/Run - 1 Mile Walk/Run. For more information about the run and walk events, please click on the links below:
For additional information, please see the attached flyer.
