The event kicks off at 10 AM with a parade beginning at South Norfolk Baptist Churc, 1101 Chesapeake Avenue, and finishing at Lakeside Park. Opening ceremony starts at approximately 11:30 AM followed b entertainment from the band "My Two Cents."
The event features children's events, games, petting zoo, paddle boat rides and more and is presented by Chesapeake Parks and Recreation and the South North Civic League. Food is available on-site for purchase, just bring a lwan chair and enjoy the fun.
