Day One

Enjoy the afternoon at Northwest River Park with 763 acres of majestic parkland than includes a trail system totaling nearly eight miles, it's the perfect setting for a romantic hike, canoe or pedal boat ride. You can rent from the campgrounds' ranger station or bring your own.

Next stop, Big Ugly Brewing Company. This microbrewery offers a variety of craft beers. A Volkswagen bus serves as private seating and brewer's British motorcycle scatter the premises.

Enjoy dinner at Chesapeake's famous Wicker's Crab Pot Seafood. Family owned restaurant with a heritage in the seafood industry for over 60 years. Owner, Ray Wicker Jr. is a fourth generation waterman who has been working the waters of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries for over 30 years. The Wicker family tradition goes back to great granddad John Wicker Sr. who crabbed and shed soft shells as far back as the 1940's. Roy Wicker followed in his father's love for crabbing and opened the Blue Channel Crab House in the 1950's.

Day Two

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.

Start your morning with a walk across the South Norfolk Jordan Bridge an exciting scenic adventure to start your day with a spectacular view of the Elizabeth River. Afterward, walk the path at Elizabeth River Park.

After your morning hike, swing by H.E. Williams Candy. Locally owned and operated, they have been making old-fashioned sweets since 1919.

On to, Bergey's Corn Maze. There you and your partner can experience a fun filled afternoon trying to find your way through this scenic maze. Come enjoy our largest corn maze ever! Includes in-maze photo ops, smart phone trivia and prizes, wagon rides, sunflower patch, pedal tractor course, corn cob shooter, sports area and a NEW cotton patch! A perfect day of fun for all couples.

Afterwards enjoy lunch at Bergey's Breadbasket and More. They offer made on-site ice cream and a variety of produce and fresh-cut flowers grown right on the farm.

After a fun filled day, head back to your hotel and relax and freshen up for an excellent dinner at Amber Lantern Restaurant. This restaurant is known for their fine cuisine and casual atmosphere along with a spectacular sunset view.

Day Three

Enjoy Breakfast at hotel!

Experience the Deep Creek Lock Park. This heavily wooded, 25 acre site with a combination pedestrian bridge/elevated walkway system to traverse a tidal inlet and marsh area. You will be sure to enjoy this romantic hike.

Grab a bite for lunch at The Egg Bistro delight in a variety of menu items from breakfast favorites, salads, sandwiches to burgers.

Take a short 20 minute drive to Virginia Beach! There's nothing like a bike ride on the boardwalk or a walk on the beach for some true romance time.

Head back to your hotel in Chesapeake and freshen up. Your day would not be complete until you have dinner at Passion The Restaurant. Featuring creative, innovative cuisine from local farmers and fisherman and a selection of affordable wines.
